Sunrise enters into a partnership agreement with Sunrock to install rooftop PV panels at Heerlen property

Sunrise Real Estate (“Sunrise”) has signed a definitive agreement with Sunrock, the pan-European market-leading solar developer, to install and operate photovoltaic panels on the roof of our Heerlen property. The roof offers 70,000 square meters of surface area, with a total capacity of 8 megawatts. Sunrise and Sunrock have partnered on two further assets in the Netherlands and Germany, with discussions on further assets ongoing.

The solar power produced at Heerlen will be partially utilized by our customer, JD Sports, and other local businesses, with any remaining output being sold to the Dutch grid. Given the high demand for sustainable energy in the Netherlands, Sunrise and Sunrock are pleased to offer local businesses clean, locally produced energy and reduced dependence on the Dutch grid.
